Autumn Gold

Autumn Gold, Emma Arthur (2013)

Leaves are falling every where now. A beautiful but sad time of year for me. This was a phototograph I took in the woods near where I live. I then worked on it in two different software programs (Photoshop and Postworkshop) to create a vibrant, lively pool of leaves. I also wanted to create a dramatic contrast between the blues in the water and the yellow, orangy leaves. I left the dark section of water on the right as I thought this gave balance to the image. I was pleased with the final result.
