Layered Lines

Layered Lines, Liam Stevens, (2013)

I choose to include this art in my blog because of the relevance of the image to my theme and the simplicity with which it was created. The image is created by drawing only straight or diagonal lines. Darker colours have been used in the foreground to give an impression of depth. Empty space gives the impression of the sky and lines are used to represent the rays of a sun that has just set behind the mountains.
